Lake Atitlan has a lot to offer and a fabulous way to spend the day and experience its splendor is with the activities of hiking and kayaking, both with intermediate difficulty. The group leaves Antigua at 6:00 a.m. for the lake and after two hours of travel you will arrive at the lake’s ridge basin in the town of Panajachel. At that site you take a boat-taxi from where you can see beautiful views of the lake on the cruise that lasts 15 minutes to the outskirts of the town of San Pedro.

Upon arrival at the site the group is organized in rowing and hiking teams, wearing bathing suits and with the proper application of sunscreen, the group will go to the west of the lake along the shore of Atitlan, this activity can last between half an hour and two hours, passing through the villages that are on the shores of the lake. Depending on the time and speed of the group, there is the possibility of swimming in the lake or jumping off the cliffs.

During the hike you will walk through coffee fields and observe the villagers in their daily lives, as well as appreciate the beautiful views of the lake and all its surroundings. After the activities you return to Panajachel in a boat-taxi; at the site is the private transport with which you return to Antigua where you can watch the sunset.
